New beginnings for Little Falls FFA Alumni and Supporters

Wanting to support the Little Falls FFA, Alicia Holtz, Little Falls FFA Chapter president, Region II reporter and senior at the Little Falls Community High School, is in the process of starting the Little Falls Alumni and Supporters. At this time, there are 21 adult volunteers who have joined the group.

“We wanted a little outside help other than our advisers. We wanted to get the community involved a little deeper, so that’s why we started it,” she said.

Holtz said although Little Falls FFA has been around for a very long time, it is the first time an alumni has started. One of the main goals for the group, she said, is to help the Little Falls FFA Chapter with fruit and tree sales, the pancake breakfast, and more, as well as help coach career development events (CDEs).

“Helping just grow the leadership of the students,” she said.
