It’s a holly jolly Christmas in Royalton

It’s a holly jolly Christmas for the Hartung family, as well as for all who pass by their home in Royalton. Tina Hartung said her husband, Matt, started collecting Christmas decorations about 20 years ago, and since then, it has grown exponentially. Today, their property, located at 13593 Galaxy Road, Royalton, features a variety of hundreds of decorations, from snowmen, Santas and reindeer to Disney characters, blow ups and bright lights. Even an original sleigh from the late 1800s is displayed with a set of reindeer ready to pull it for Santa on Christmas Eve.

The family encourages people to check out the display. Visitors may also turn into their driveway for a closer look at the displays. Since the road loops around their shop building, Tina said they can just follow the road and when done looking, leave without having to back up.

The display will be available for viewing until Sunday, Dec. 31, between the hours of 5 p.m. and 10 p.m.
